Dr Joginderpal (Jag) Singh Kundi has had extensive international work experience in the profession and in academia. He is at present Board Advisor to three companies: Silverleap Technology Ltd., a global operating provider of disruptive technologies and services; the Lepora Group, a company with a high-growth consumer products business with established China/Asia distribution, experience, brands and products positioned for a market which will reach US$116 billion in China alone; and Mercury Foreign Exchange Ltd., a trusted global currency specialist having developed a proprietary FX trading platform. He has also been a Non-Executive Director at VRI Plc (Vaccine Research International) in the United Kingdom.
Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer of Caben Asia Pacific Ltd., (part of the Artsana Group in Italy), one of the global market leaders in the baby products industry; the Finance Director of Real Goal Trading Ltd, HK; Project Accountant at Richbay Ltd, HK; Accountant and Company Secretary at K & K Building Services Ltd., UK; and Assistant Management Accountant at ISA International Plc, UK.
Dr Kundi has done numerous international consulting projects in companies such as THTF (HK) Ltd.; Centre for International Wine Studies Ltd. (Australia & France); Central Source Chemical Industrial (Anhui) Co., Ltd., China; BeRich Brokerage Ltd., Hong Kong; Vine Bar & Restaurant Concept in Vietnam; and the Quality Games On-Line Ltd., in England.
Dr Kundi has extensive involvement in undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programs as a lecturer and thesis supervisor. He is an Adjunct Professor and Mentor for DBA Students for City University of Hong Kong; Associate Director of the Executive Doctorate in in Management & Governance & Co-Supervisor of External PhDs at the University of Twente, Netherlands; Dissertation Supervisor at Hull University, UK; and PhD Supervisor at Greenwich School of Management, UK. He has also lectured at the University of Strathclyde and the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Kundi also conducts professional training programs in Hong Kong and China for the Institute of Public Accountants, Australia; the Institute of Professional & Executive Management, Hong Kong; CPA Australia and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Australia.
Dr Kundi holds a BA (Hons) Accounting from the Polytechnic of North London, England; an MBA from the University of Humberside, Hull, England, and a PhD in Accountancy from City University of Hong Kong. The professional qualifications he holds are Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), England, and Fellow Certified Public Accountant (FCPA) from CPA Australia. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) of ICMA Australia.
