Prof. Anthony Wu 

Prof. Anthony Wu is a Standing Committee Member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference National Committee of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). He is Chairman of the China Oxford Scholarship Fund and Director of Power Assets Holdings Limited, Guangdong Investment Limited and China Taiping Insurance Holdings Company Limited. Mr. Wu is also an executive director and the Co-Chairman of Sincere Watch (Hong Kong) Limited and the Chief Advisor of Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi-UFJ. He is at present a board member of the HKGCC.

Prof Wu is a member of PRC’s State Council Medical Reform Leadership Advisory Commission, an Advisor and a member of the Public Policy Advisory Committee of the National Health and Family Planning Commission. He is an Honorary Professor in the Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Honorary Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Community Medicine. He was awarded the honour of the Gold Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 2008.

He was Chairman and Chief Executive of Ernst & Young Far East from 2000 to 2005 and a member of the Global Executive Board of Ernst & Young International from 1996 to 2005.
