Adele Ferguson on the “Travails of an Investigative Journalist”

Adele Ferguson, the multi-award-winning business writer, gave a talk at the 2022 Global Accounting Hall of Fame (Australia) dinner about the difficulties face by both investigative journalists and whistle-blowers in Australia.

Adele was the Management Accounting Hall of Fame recipient in 2019 for her many exposés include that which brought about a Royal Commission into the banking sector. More recently she has exposed the ‘Cosmetic Cowboys’ and the Medicare fraud.

She is a columnist and author for leading newspapers, The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and the Australian Financial Review. She is a regular guest reporter on ABC’s Four Corners and 7:30 reports. With more than 20 years in journalism, Adele carries a reputation as one of Australia’s most awarded journalists.
